Fatherhood is the reason I keep building. I’m a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and the founder of Yoshi’s Tronics. Across the Quad Cities and San Antonio, I build practical businesses around electronics repair, retail, gaming, hospitality, sports, and technical training—work meant to outlive the noise and become part of my daughters’ legacy.

I started Yoshi’s Tronics in Virginia in 2013. Today it combines electronics resale and repair with hands-on service, gaming, and a practical commitment to keeping useful technology in circulation.
Technology-enabled hospitality
I began the hospitality business from an East Moline apartment in 2018. The earliest Airbnb earnings statement currently reviewed documents Virginia hosting activity beginning in October 2019. The San Antonio buildout now adds a condo expansion path and a house acquired in May 2026.

A Davenport venue built to give my mother’s Filipino cooking a public home and combine food, drinks, games, and community in one independent gathering place. Its San Antonio successor is being developed around sports, gaming, food, and gathering.
Mini golf · Games · Private gatherings
A Hampton mini-golf property reimagined as family recreation by day and a private social-entertainment experience by night. Village records document the concept and my reported 2024 operating chapter; current public status remains unconfirmed.
02 / The operating philosophy
Born in Davenport and shaped by time in Chicago, I learned early to study systems from the inside. At the U.S. Naval Academy, a technical education turned that instinct into a discipline. Naval service added a second lesson: the quality of a system is measured by how reliably it serves people.
Since 2013, I have applied that mindset to businesses in electronics, repair, gaming, and hospitality—finding overlooked value, training teams, and designing experiences people choose to return to.

I earned a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and commissioned as a Surface Warfare Officer.
Buying, repairing, and reselling electronics in Hampton Roads before growing into brick-and-mortar retail.
Expanded Yoshi’s Tronics and built documented hospitality, food, and entertainment chapters, including Yoshi’s Place.
Tronics established the operating foothold. Place is expanding through the condo path and a newly acquired house. The Bar vision adds a sports-integrated gathering layer.

Yoshi’s Tronics is the operating anchor at Ingram Park Mall. Yoshi’s Place is expanding the hospitality base through the condo phase and a newly acquired house. Yoshi’s Bar is the next community layer: a sports-integrated concept being developed around live games, gaming, food, culture, and gathering. Three different stages, one local vision.
